The Great Exhibition Road Festival (GERF) is a free annual celebration of science and the arts each summer in South Kensington and online.  Exhibition Road is transformed into a huge festival to explore the extraordinary as we celebrate London’s innovators, scientists, artists and designers with events for all ages. The programme includes hands-on workshops, fascinating talks, performances and installations many local partners from iconic museums, research and culture organisations, including Imperial College London, the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, V&A and many more.

Continental Drifts have produced GERF since the first festival in 2019, it took a break during COVID-19 and returned in June 2022 and plans to remain an annual event. During her time at Continental Drifts, Alex was the Production Manager for the 2019 festival so the Drifts team asked Swans Events to support them when it returned. In 2022, Swans Events managed all aspects of production and site management including budget management, site design, trader procurement and site management. We will be taking on the same role for GERF 2023.
